My Half-Blood Review
My Pure Review
* There are other books in the series that have yet to come out. You will get the first three that have been published.*
I absolutely love these books! I absolutely love this author! In my world if the author is nice/likable/approachable it's a plus and I will always give their books a try and support their art. I digress! If you haven't already heard: This series is about Alex Andros, Half-Blood/Baby Apollyon, who is so full of passion and bravery. She has lost much in a period of a year and is finding herself more and more alone dealing with things that she either has no control over or things she has set in motion. Yeah, umm, she gets into trouble A LOT! At any rate this is a unique series that will have you in suspense the entire time encouraging you, pleading with you, enticing you to not set it down until you finish.
*This giveaway/gift is open internationally as long as Book Depository can deliver to your country. U.S. entries can choose Amazon or Book Depository*
Awesome contest Mirely! Can't wait to see future posts on the new blog! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Tara for the support and kind words! You are such a beautiful soul.
DeleteThose covers are beautiful. Is it wrong that I've been reading books all of my life and I still tend to judge books by their covers?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful for sure! Mesmerizing to a point even. I totally judge a book by its cover! My routine: Cover/book description/author. In that order. If description is on point then I buy e-book. If book/story is a winner I buy the printed version. Yeah...I'm bad.
DeleteI don't have favourite serie to be honest because I read so many amazing ones - I can't decide!
ReplyDeleteJust write about books. And make your blog a little easier to navigate on ;)
Happy blogging! Check out my review blog if you'd like to :) Ah, and delete word verification from comments please!
My most favorite series will most likely be Harry Potter. :-)But I agree there are so many great ones out there.
DeleteThank you for all of your suggestions!
Congrats on the blog. It has an unusual layout, but I really like it. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Natasha! It's the artist in me... maybe the rebel in me too. I like to be different in my own way. LOL
DeleteThanks for the great giveaway! I like a lot of good UF and paranormal series so it is hard to pick a favorite. I enjoy reading reviews that are easy to follow and clearly state why a book is worth reading.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Feel free to suggest any UF or Paranormals you think I should read.
DeleteOh my favorite series is Twilight. Love Love Love it! But I also like Vampire Diaries. Just all Vamps. I look for a cool site something thats just more than curb appeal. The author of the site posts interesting stuff that I want to read. Thats why I'm a book blogger love to read. Other blogs inspire me to what I should read. Thanks

Thank you Krista! I loved the Twilight series as well. I think I loved it even more because I read the series with my best friend. I always love to share my thoughts with someone else and enjoy the back and forth on likes and dislikes.
DeleteI have to many favorite series! Morganville, Vampire Diaries, House of Night, Starcrossed trilogy, The Hunger Games Triology... I could go on for days! and with blogs just honest simple reviews, easy navigation, variety and a bit of humor :') <3
ReplyDeleteLove it! Thank you!
DeleteI have too many favorites to list and I love your blog. Great giveaway I've been wanting these FOREVER!
ReplyDeleteIt really is a great series Emily! I think I fell in love because I saw it's growth. I read Daimon when it was a free unedited version but could still appreciate it's potential. When the official version came out and then Half-Blood came out right after, I was floored by how good this story was.
DeleteOh and no worries on listing your faves. We are Goodreads friends and I already took a peek at your list. ;-)
I dont have a favorite series. to much to choose froom (:
ReplyDeleteand i mostly look for book recommendations and reviews when i visit blogs. (:

Thank you KarmenToo for stopping by!
DeleteHmmm, I don't really have a favourite series... I didn't read many to be honest- I prefer single books...
ReplyDeleteI kind of challenged myself to start reading series in 2012 hence I'm participating in this x3
In a blog, I love to read reviews that are simple and honest! Humour is a must to keep me reading!

Thanks Crystal for stopping by! I like series but I have to admit that it's a headache to wait for each new book. I find myself having to re-read some of the books in the series to remember stuff about it to prep for the next one that's coming out. I didn't mind doing it for the Harry Potter books but I find it hard to do it for any other series.
DeleteThanks for the tip... !FUNNY! Got it! (I will try:-/)
I absolutely LOVED the Eon/Eona duology, they're definitely my favorites! Before I read them the Harry Potter series were always first. I'm very new to this blog stuff, but I just really like awesome people and awesome reviews :D Also, I like how everything is organized here. And this giveaway is awesome, thanks for doing it! :)
ReplyDeleteBook Slayer! I have Eon/Eona on my TBR list! Got to bump it up on the list fo sho! Thank you for the recommendation and for stopping by!
DeleteThanks for the giveaway it's awesome. i don't really have a favourite series because there are more books coming up and every book i read seems to have fault.
ReplyDeleteAww Nelly I know what you mean!! I'm getting a bit frustrated with how some of the books I'm reading are lacking too. As I say on to the next and hopefully that next will be a great one!
DeleteThank you for stopping by!
I can't choose a favorite series.. I have quite a few. I enjoy them for different reasons. I LOVE JLA though.. both of her series so far are AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteWhat do I look for in a blog? Hmmm.. I look for helpful reviews.. a blogger that interacts with their readers.. extra stuff to read/look at.. a couple of good memes per week.. and some unique-ness. :D
Thanks so much for the giveaway!
Thanks for stopping by! JLA is an amazing writer with great talent. Love her!
